Dear Detective Burnham:

Allegations of Criminal Fraud and Cover-Ups in Ontario Hydro

No formal feedback has been received from my requests of December 3, 1996, to re-open the above case.

As Ms. Prinsloo stated in her letter of August 11th, 1995 (attached), the Fraud Squad has the legal right to decide whether to investigate or not. This position was also implied in our phone conversation of July 4, 1996, when you informed me that the Fraud Squad would not investigate the above case any further.

Consequently, if no feedback is received by March 4th, 1997, I shall assume that the Fraud Squad retains its right not to investigate any further, and has no further interest in this case. Under these circumstances, I reserve the right to take the case elsewhere.
